Working alone at home, I bent some dry materials into squares, following the basic colour principles and angular dynamics set and made famous by Piet Mondrian. Buttercup, found aplenty in nature in summer, accustomed to this requirement quite well.

There was so much strength and vitality in these materials and in the container, too, that I was not at all worried to present this arrangement and leave it on display for several days at Kalliola exhibition in fall 2015. The flower stems were probably sturdier than many of the passers-by! And they survived long after the exhibition was over. The best materials anyone could ask for.
